Finished the whole set in one sitting, which says a lot since I normally pace myself. Octopolis especially rewards slow builds—the way the pieces connect really pulls you into Kaplan’s world. Babylon’s a nice bonus, but together they make a proper collector piece.
The way Octopolis and Babylon feel like two halves of one bigger story is what sold me — the collector’s edition packaging makes that connection obvious right out of the box. I’ve spent two evenings just studying the artwork on the pieces before even starting the build.
Putting together Octopolis genuinely made me feel like I was uncovering Lev Kaplan's multiverse piece by piece, the detail in the artwork is incredible. The two-piece collector's edition feels like a proper set for fans of The Book, and the quality of the pieces makes it a joy to display when done.
